Konso

Konsō (今草, こんそう, Chinese: jīn cǎo, i.e. “modern draft script”)

Modern cursive (or draft) script. Its initiator was the most renowned master of sōsho (草書, そうしょ, cursive script) of the late Han dynasty (漢朝, 206 B.C. – 220 C.E.), and possibly of all time, named 張芝 (Zhāng Zhī, birth date unknown, died in 190 C.E.). His handwriting technique in cursive hand was far beyond mastery. For that reason he is often referred to as 草聖 (Chinese: cǎo shèng) – which means “cursive script sage”.
